How to reach a person

One address, one telephone number, and a reply within five working days. There is no ticket maze and nothing here routes you in a circle.

Contact

Reply time

Postal address
On the legal information page.
Please do not send us anything off a statement. No amounts, no transaction lines, no card or account numbers, no screenshots. We have no use for them, we do not want them, and if any arrive we delete them.

What to include

  • The email address on your account.
  • What you were trying to do.
  • What happened instead.
  • The date, if it is about a payment.

A person, not a queue. The same address answers everything on this page.

Common things

The things people write in about

I want to cancel

You do not need us for that. One button in billing — no form, no reason asked, nobody to speak to. The rights that go with it are on the cancellation page.

I want a refund

Email us with the address on your account and the date of the payment. We reply within five working days. What you are entitled to is set out on the cancellation and refunds page, and none of it depends on you giving a reason.

The list missed something obvious about how I live

Tell us. The table the list is built from was written by people and it will fit some lives better than others. Say what kind of arrangement it did not think of — no detail about your money, just the kind of place — and we will look at the table.

Something on the site does not work for me

Say what you were trying to do and what happened. If it is an accessibility problem, the accessibility page sets out what we already know is imperfect, and we would rather hear about it than not.

I want my data deleted

Email us and we will do it, within one month and usually much sooner. Your other rights under the UK GDPR, including the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, are on the privacy page.

Can you look at my account and tell me what I am paying for?

No, and not because we will not — because we cannot. There is no connection to any bank or payment account anywhere in this product, so there is nothing for us to look at. Please do not send us statements, screenshots, card details or account numbers. If you do, we will delete them and ask you not to.

Free advice that is not from us

If you would rather talk to somebody independent of us, you can, and it costs nothing.

  • Living anywhere else

  • About your data

You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk at any time, whether or not you have raised it with us first.
