Acceptable Use Policy

Do not use this service to

Break the law

• Do anything unlawful, or help anybody else to.
• Infringe anybody’s intellectual property.
• Defame, harass or threaten anybody.

Harm children

Any material that sexualises or endangers a child is prohibited absolutely. Accounts are closed immediately and reports are made to the authorities, including to NCMEC where that applies.

Act for somebody else without their say-so

• Do not build a list about a person who has not asked you to.
• Do not impersonate anybody, including us.
• Do not enter another person’s details.

Deceive

• No fraud, scams or phishing.
• Do not present output from this service as advice from a professional adviser.
• Do not present output from this service as a finding about a named company.

Things this service is specifically not for

These follow from what the product is. They are not edge cases and they are not negotiable.

• Do not paste anything from a statement. Not a line, not a figure, not a card number, not an account number. There is no field here that wants one, anything that looks like one is discarded, and pasting it achieves nothing except putting it somewhere it did not need to go.
• Do not use it as financial advice. It gives none. It does not judge spending, rank it, compare it or suggest a budget.
• Do not treat its output as a claim about any company. It names none. What it describes are shapes a statement line can take, never a correspondence to a particular business.
• Do not build a merchant lookup table from it. There is nothing here to build one from, and presenting one as though it came from here would be a misrepresentation.
• Do not use it as a substitute for regulated advice about credit, debt, insurance or investment.

High-risk uses

Do not use this service for, or rely on it in:

Do not abuse the service itself

• Do not work around allowance limits or access controls.
• Do not scrape, reverse engineer, or resell access.
• Do not run automated traffic against the service.

What we will not do either

These bind us, not you. We run no countdowns, no scarcity claims, no pre-ticked renewals, no free trial that converts to a paid subscription, and no retention flow standing between you and cancelling. We publish no customer testimonials. We name no payment provider anywhere on this site.

If this policy is broken

Depending on what happened, we may warn you, suspend the account or close it. Where we do, we will say why and what can be done about it. Closing an account for a breach does not remove any refund right the law gives you.
